On the wettest day for 139 years, I had to

drive north through darkness and rain with sickening children in the back of the car and floods everywhere. It was a terrifying drive; on the motorway through sheets of water blindly. On the way back I stopped off at Rutland Water to take some images for my new project. This double rainbow shone just for a few minutes. It was an incredible moment of radiance. Sometimes we need hard times to transform our souls. For me this image symbolises so much encouragement and reassurance. I hope it reassures you too.
